How do I keep it together?

Photobucket

Some days feel like a whirlwind and I can't tell if we are coming or going. I needed to get it together. I came across Organized home and their wonderful Household Notebook. You can print of several templates from Organizedhome.com to get you started.

In this notebook I have everything we need from our daily schedule to what size shoes my kids wear.

Our notebook has 10 dividers:
1. Address and Phone numbers
2. Daily and Weekly to do schedules
3. Weekly and Monthly meals planned
4. Food Inventory, Pantry and Freezer
5. Shopping lists
6. Important Dates
7. Kid Sizes
8. Important Papers
9. Bills Due
10.Upcoming cakes and Ideas

The very first page of the notebook is an Emergency phone number list, it also has our emergency plan. My pages are protected by page protectors so I use a wet erase marker to change things as needed.

I have had this notebook for a month now and my life has run so much smoother. My favorite section is the Food Inventory. I know everything we have so it makes meal planning easy. It took a bit getting this all together but so worth it in the end.

I came across your blog through a friend's blog... I love your cake decorating! I was wondering where you found your home organizer? I've been staying organized with charts taped to my walls! :)

Thank you!
I got a 3 ring binder, dividers and page protectors from Walmart and then printed out the templates from organizedhome.com. I don't think it was more than $10 to put it together.
